Habitat for Humanity

Builds strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. Working toward a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Building Team

Be a part of the building team for families in need. Monthly teams of 5 people join others from Plateau churches on the job site. Habitat for Humanity of East King County is breaking ground on their new project of 10 homes in the Issaquah Highlands this summer. This is the first Habitat development in Issaquah in many years and they would like to take this opportunity to reach out to the community.

Can't Build? Make a Lunch for Habitat for Humanity!

Habitat for Humanity of East King County is looking for lunch donations to their construction sites in Redmond and Snoqualmie. If construction isn't your thing, but cooking is, lunch for the volunteers is always a welcome donation to the Habitat work site!

Please let Habitat know if you would be interested in bringing lunch for approximately 30 people on a Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday before noon to our sites in Redmond or Snoqualmie by contacting Jayme Aumann, Habitat EKC Volunteer Coordinator (425.869.6007 ext 232).

If you or someone you know needs an affordable home, attend one of the meetings for all the current opportunities. Click Here for all the information.

If you would like to volunteer on the project with others from PLCC contact Les Nelson.
