Leader: Ross Morley
Fridays 6-8:30pm at various homes. "The Screwtape Letters" by C.S. Lewis.
We are a group of families with mostly high school & college age children, and a few younger. Our purpose is deeper connection and spiritual growth within the larger family of PLCC, and mutual support in the challenges of parenting and life in general. We have just resumed meeting in person after a long period of zooming, and will soon break for the summer, then regroup after school starts. We meet typically bi-weekly for a meal together, then the adults do a study, share and pray, while the kids hang together in another room.
The group is always open to new people. It is a great way to build deep connections and lasting friendships within the church. We have done a variety of topics ranging from Bible book studies through DVD series on various topics - the study is not the main point, but provides a focus to help us grow and bond spiritually. Sometimes we skip the study and just chat.
We are near the end of reading and discussing "The Screwtape Letters" by C.S. Lewis, and will decide on a new study after the summer. If you would like to join us, please email us via the Contact link and we'll give you details for our next meeting. We welcome you to just come and try us out with no commitment.
