Mark 15:1-15
Is Jesus political? He stands now before Rome, the strongest and longest political power in history, ruling for 1,000 years over most of the known world. Rome, in the person of its governor, seems puzzled, troubled, and amazed by him. He is not political in the way Rome is but ultimately he is super-political. Let’s let Jesus speak to our broken politics with hope.
