Prayer Ministries

Prayer is the foundation for everything at Pine Lake Covenant Church and the key to unlocking God’s prevailing power in your life. We invite the congregation and community to seek the Lord through prayer in several ways.

Weekly Prayer Service

Wednesday mornings at 9AM in the Sanctuary
This is a scheduled weekly time for PLCC to grow in prayer. The purpose is two-fold:
  • To pray for the hurting world around us, for salvation, flourishing, and healing
  • To pray for needs within the church body

Come when you can. It is our intent to always have at least one pastor there. Prayer time lasts 40-50 minutes, depending on the needs.

Prayer Network

The prayer network at Pine Lake Covenant Church rapidly mobilizes believers into God-centered prayer for those suffering physically, emotionally, or spiritually. This leads to a closer relationship with God and a deeper trust in Him. The prayer network is maintained by the church office and includes the pastoral staff and other individuals at PLCC who request to participate. You may submit prayer requests for the PLCC community, family and friends. For sensitive matters, you can submit requests to pastors only.

Home or Hospital Visits

The Visitation Team consists of lay persons filled with Christ’s love and trained to visit people in times of need or immobility, including illness, hospitalization, assisted living, nursing care or being homebound. We offer support through a one-time visit or ongoing conversation and prayer.

Prayer Room

Pine Lake Covenant Church occasionally hosts a prayer room to facilitate a time of focused prayer for the whole church community. Individuals or small groups are invited to sign up to visit the room and use its resources to direct their own personal time of focused prayer.

Seasonal Prayer Services

We periodically host prayer services, typically in the fall and during Lent.
