1 Peter 2:4-12
It may be a little bit of a stretch, but basically the Bible never says, “be good,” without first telling you who you are. Identity precedes “you ought.” Good parenting advice also. When you know who you are, you know what to do. Self-identifying as strangers and aliens, you would think, wouldn’t be the basis for a strong and positive identity. Get ready to be surprised by God’s Word.
