At Risk - The Seven Churches of Revelation

Modern-day Turkey contains archaeological treasure. Part of the treasure is found in the ruins of seven churches that the Apostle John writes letters to in the Book of Revelation. Each letter is intensely personal, from Jesus himself. There are words of encouragement and words of challenge. They are meant for all churches at all times and provide a way for us to measure ourselves on the basis of the one who has the only opinion that really counts. We may like churches that do certain things, that are more relevant or meet our needs. Jesus has a different matrix for evaluation, as we shall see. Seven churches, all at risk.
