Hurt by Freedom

1 Corinthians 8:1-13

If you are an American, freedom is a wonderful word. We also cherish American “know how.” Both freedom and knowledge are part of our cherished national vocabulary. The problem with using your freedom or knowledge in the wrong way is that you can destroy other people. Freedom or knowledge without love are hurtful. We have all been hurt by the exercise of freedom and knowledge – and we have all hurt others. Paul wants to show us a better way.
