Exodus 3:1-15
One thing that defined Moses’ adult life more than anything else was failure. His low self-esteem was not to be confused with humility. The last thing he wanted was to fail again (more about hurt pride). How can God get through to him, convincing him that he was truly chosen for a new and outrageously risky task? He does it by revealing His character to Moses, the very thing He wants to do for us.
