No Return Necessary

No Return Necessary

I’ll hold the door for you, if you will hold the door for me. Just pay it forward. These are a couple of ways our culture can operate in generosity, but the way of Jesus offers another, more meaningful way to bless others. A culture of generosity is not just for those who’ve earned it or are worthy of it, but also for those who can offer nothing in return. Join us as we learn to live A Life of Generosity.

Luke 14:12-14

12 Then Jesus said to his host, “When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. 13 But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, 14 and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”
