The God of Abraham

Genesis 22:1-18

In the New Testament, Paul says that Abraham was “fully persuaded that God could do what he had promised.” This is called faith. Abraham’s faith was put to the ultimate test in what is called the “Akedah” or binding of Isaac. Abraham proves himself, though he often falters, as one who truly trusts God to provide. O what we can learn from him!
