We often think of God as mighty, powerful, and unchanging, but have we ever considered the vulnerability of God? Throughout Scripture, we encounter a God who loves deeply, grieves rejection, and longs for relationship. In Jesus, we see a Savior who not only meets the needs of others but experiences need himself and amplifies the voices of the vulnerable. Maybe vulnerability is not weakness, but part of how we were created to live as image bearers of God. Let’s wonder together… What does it look like to become a community where we live into this reflection?

Galatians 6:2; James 5:16; Romans 12:15

Galatians 6:2

2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

James 5:16

16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Romans 12:15

15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.
